Donald Trump: "Jews Who Vote for Harris Should Get Their Heads Examined"

Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated on Thursday that American Jews who vote for his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris, should "have their heads examined."

The Republican spoke at the national assembly of the Israeli American Council, one of the largest Jewish organizations in the world, held in Washington, where he said it’s hard to believe that the majority of American Jews plan to vote for the Democratic candidate.

"I say it all the time: any Jew who votes for her, especially now, should have their heads examined," the New York magnate declared.

According to a recent poll by the Jewish Electoral Institute, 72% of American Jews support Harris, while only 25% back Trump.

The Republican candidate, who touted the pro-Israel policies he implemented while in the White House four years ago, lamented that he still doesn’t have enough support from Jewish voters in the polls, calling it "unacceptable."

"If I don’t win this election, and I’ve been very good, in my opinion the Jewish people will have a lot to do with a loss," he warned.

Trump also said that the upcoming US elections "are the most important in Israel's history" and added, "Israel has to defeat Kamala Harris."

During the presidential debate on September 10, Trump claimed that Harris hates Israel and said that the Jewish state would cease to exist within two years if the Democrat wins the election.

The Vice President, in the debate, said she will always defend Israel's "right to defend itself," while expressing support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and advocating the need for a plan to rebuild Gaza.

Both Harris and US President Joe Biden were invited to the Israeli American Council assembly but declined to participate.
