The virtual Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, does not rule out the possibility of violent acts if he does not win in the federal elections next November, in which he will face the current president of the United States, Democrat Joe Biden.

“It always depends on the impartiality of the elections,” said the former president in an interview that he gave to Time magazine and that was published this Tuesday. “If we don't win, you know, it depends,” he said.

Trump continues to deny the results of the 2020 elections, in which he lost against Biden, after pointing out, without providing evidence, that they were manipulated.

His supporters stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, when the victory of the now Democratic ruler was being certified, in an attempted insurrection for which Trump faces a trial in which he is accused of wanting to reverse the results of the elections, time that several of his followers have been sentenced to prison.

In the publication's interview, the virtual Republican candidate indicated that he considers a presidential pardon for all those convicted of the assault on the Capitol.

Regarding abortion, Trump was in favor of letting the states decide whether they should monitor the cases of women accused of having undergone an abortion and whether they should be subject to convictions.

“It's irrelevant if I'm comfortable or not. It is totally irrelevant, because the states are going to make those decisions,” said Trump, who in the past has boasted of having appointed three conservative judges to the United States Supreme Court during his administration.

In June 2022, the US Supreme Court ended the federal protections established in the case of “Roe v. Wade” and that prevented states from legislating abortion, after which a cascade effect occurred in several conservative states that limited the termination of pregnancy.

In immigration matters, the former president maintained the idea of using military force to combat irregular migration and, specifically, referred to the possibility of using the National Guard if he is elected for a second term.

Asked if he was willing to ignore federal laws that prohibit the use of military force against civilians, Trump said that undocumented immigrants “are not civilians,” they are “people who are not legally in our country.”
